Writing is a practice.

It’s like yoga. Rarely are there masters of the practice. It’s also a craft, an artistic endeavor that calls incessantly, like a small child – “Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom.” It can’t be ignored.

I love doing it! I have novels in the works and I’ve published two , Casting Off (2009, Penguin) and Here and Again (2014, Penguin). I also have what are called, “Orphan Stories” – writing that hasn’t found a home and home, for a story, is in the eyes of a reader.

So here are some of the stories from my practice and my craft. Some are letters on a page. Others are videos I’ve taken as I have wander around, listening for that incessant call. They are all yet orphan stories, looking for a reader. I hope that reader is you.
